Executive Job Description | Job Description- FP&A MANAGER- Santa Rosa, Sonoma County, CA (SF North Bay Area)
Top R&D defense/Dept of Defense (DoD) contracting organization seeks Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to assist with their growth in programs. Reports to Director of Finance.
Location: Santa Rosa- Sonoma County, California. *Relocation assistance is provided.
FP&A Manager is the main point of contact with the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) for the division's direct and indirect rate structure and is responsible for the annual filing of the Incurred Cost Claim. FP&A is responsible for setting budgets and developing forecasts and analyzing indirect expenses, including New Business Expense (NBE). Senior Management depends heavily upon timely, accurate and meaningful data from the FP&A department to help make sound business decisions in a proactive manner.
Skills Must have min of 6 yrs exp in FP&A or equivalent exp in a DoD environment, with a min of 2 years supervisory exp. • Highly experienced with Microsoft office products & a strong working knowledge of accounting software. • Thorough knowledge of CAS & applicable FAR sections, prior experience with ERP systems & proficiency in indirect rate development & tracking reqd • Advanced knowledge of data collection, data analysis & evaluation reqd. • Ability to manage priorities & workflow, handle multiple projects & meet deadlines. • Bachelor’s degree in Acct, Finance or equivalent combo of education & exp • It is possible that this position may require a security clearance; applicants must meet eligibility requirements to obtain access to classified information. • Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (Green Card Holder) to be considered for employment
