Executive Job Description | The Director functions under the direction of the Senior Director of Information Systems and provides direct supervision of the Corporate Training Development team who are responsible for developing training materials necessary for HIS and technology education and support. The Director is responsible for building and providing direction to the overall IT training program. The training materials and delivery media are designed to facilitate the train-the-trainer sessions; and facilitate independent interactive learning for IT system implementations and enhancements. The team of Corporate Training developers applies innovative technologies and alternative media (on-line training, e-authoring, CD, interactive video, job aides) to the learning process. This position will oversee the collaboration with content and IT system experts in developing the materials in cooperation with the care site training and support personnel. The Director may oversee contract fulfillment and service levels of an outsourced training function. Assigns personnel to the various training tasks and directs their activities. Reviews and evaluates work and prepares performance reports related to training programs. This position will be responsible for directing multiple concurrent projects and will provide guidance to multiple teams on issues that range from prioritizing, operational issues, and conflict management that may be associated with multiple projects. Duties would include analyzing, overseeing current processes, initiating projects, establishing corrective actions plans when needed, establishing budgets and monitoring project milestones.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related area Equivalent education and work experience may be substituted in lieu of education Two years experience in database development and design, web design, technical assistance and scheduling. Strong problem solving and analytical analysis skills Advanced level computer skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Visio, Web design Excellent written skills, including knowledge of grammar and sentence structure. Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills Ambulatory clinic operations experience required Minimum of six years experience in management role is required

Masters degree Instructional Design Degree Knowledge of Epic systems System design and implementation for ambulatory clinics Strong ability to organize approaches/functions/activities across numerous diverse entities Demonstrated ability to develop creative solutions to complex problems Outstanding facilitation and conflict management skills Strong customer service Experience with negotiations and contract development Multi-specialist experience preferred |
