Executive Job Description | Director, Value Added Services / EOL(Electronic Components)
Straube Associates, a national executive search firm has been retained to recruit a Director, Value Added Services/EOL for our client located in the Northeast, a multi-billion dollar global provider of products, services and solutions to industrial and commercial users of electronic components and enterprise computing solutions.
The Director, Value Added Services/EOL reports directly to the VP, Global Services Sales. He/She will also be responsible for managing the EOL (End of Life) product services segment and will provide cross-functional leadership to optimize the financial and operational performance of this segment. The Director will be expected to formulate business strategies, lead business development activities with suppliers and maintain rigorous controls for managing risk versus returns for the business. He/She is ultimately accountable for developing and executing plans for sales growth, margin management and return on working capital objectives. Travel 25-50%.
10-15+ years of experience in business development, sales, strategic supplier management and complex program management with strong P&L management experience. Experience in technology distribution, strategic purchasing or technology services management required. Semiconductor background preferred.
Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance or related field. An MBA or an advanced degree would be a plus.
Compensation will be based on the experience and qualifications the candidate brings to the position. Compensation will include a competitive base salary + bonus and an excellent benefits plan. Relocation assistance avail-able as required. Flexible requirements re: location of final candidate.
