Executive Job Description | Premier Fortune 100 employer in center city Philadelphia has an immediate need for a Director, Talent Acqusition.
Responsible for providing strategic direction, thought leadership, and consultative expertise in the area of recruiting operations for the Talent Acquisition group, at one of the world’s leading communications companies. This individual will leverage their deep business knowledge to influence the development, implementation, and sustainability of scalable, flexible, and cost-effective strategic sourcing and recruitment plans. Significant Roles and Responsibilities: • Recruiting Guidance: Build and maintain close relationships with key business, recruiting, and HR contacts to ensure support of recruiting efforts. Work with contacts to create implementation and change management plans tailored to their specific business.
• Initiatives: Lead the implementation of key recruitment initiatives across the organization, including assessments, training, performance management, candidate marketing, vendor management, and reporting & metric development and utilization.
• Leadership and Mentoring: Manage and coach a team responsible for daily management of the key initiatives. Advise the HQ staffing team and field staffing teams on best practices in staffing and recruitment. Support business groups in recruitment and in the ongoing training and skills assessment of Recruiters.
• Development: Direct outsource recruiting strategy to ensure candidate pipeline (quality and quantity) as well as the delivery effectiveness align with the business hiring/workforce planning needs. Including strategies, processes, policies, systems and metrics that ensure hiring plans are met.
• Management: of all facets of the day to day services of the recruiting operations group. Includes the reporting and measurement, budget, ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, regulations, and standards of practice.

Experience and Qualifications:
The successful candidate should possess the following:
• Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree preferred in Business Administration, Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related discipline. • Minimum of 8+ years experience within a fortune 100 company in HR/Recruiting; 5+ years at the senior management level. • Breadth of experience utilizing recruiting, management, & analytical skills. • Comprehensive knowledge of HR tools, technology, workforce and strategic HR planning. • Demonstrated experience providing strategic direction with Talent Acquisition initiatives, including high volume, exempt, college, and executive areas.
