Director of Sales – Medical Device- BUS#347
Hospital – Specialty Bed / Mattress

EMPLOYER:
Executive Office Services is privileged to present an exciting opportunity with a Medical Devices / Pressure Sensing Company.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States
Green Card / Work Visa
Hands on Sales Leader with minimum of five (5) years experience in the Hospital Specialty Beds / Mattresses Products for PU prevention units.
Proven track record of product launch and initial sales & revenue generation achieved individually for newly introduced ROI based medical products in the PU prevention field (specialty beds / mattresses, etc.)
Must demonstrate existing relationships with medical device distribution channels to the above vertical markets. Familiarity with major support surface players in the market space.
Understanding and willingness to operate in a start-up, entrepreneurial environment
Awareness of monitoring equipment currently used in various settings (OR, ICU, General Floor, LTC, etc.)
Awareness of DME code acquisition process and its applicability to Hospice and Home Care markets.
Familiarity with regulatory processes for Exempt and/or 510K (2) devices
MBA with high technical aptitude is a plus

CAREER OPPORTUNITY:
The Director of US Sales will lead the launch efforts of a newly developed and well received medical device to assist caregivers in compliance with Pressure Ulcer (PU) prevention protocols - and hence a reduction in PU incidence. Core responsibilities include achieving rapid initial market traction, achieve revenue expectations, and development of a solid and sustainable growth plan.
Generate sales and revenue immediately following launch of the product through direct or indirect sales (channels and distributors).
Develop relations for direct and indirect sales into hospitals, LTC (mainly nursing homes), LTAC, Rehabilitation, other health care providers and opinion leaders (WOCN, NPUAP, etc.) to achieve sales targets.
Evaluate current ROI based selling and rental pricing models per vertical and determine best path in each specific area. Create necessary sales and marketing tools (with the marketing team) to effectively broadcast message.
Analyze key product market size and execute most efficient strategy to achieve goals
Develop intelligence on competitor programs, tests, and pricing and use intelligence to support sales effort
Provide feedback to other departments on sales activities, future business potential, and performance versus the plan
Assist in developing and executing marketing plan including messaging, materials, trade show attendance, exhibition and presentation.
Steer Marketing to deepen penetration in targeted verticals and support launch of new products and new business opportunities to optimize revenue growth
Develop and implement metrics to evaluate success of marketing programs and take appropriate action when metrics note deficiencies
Assist in the execution and positive outcome of product and clinical trials to bolster marketing message and sell through
