Executive Job Description
Director of Sales for an International Manufacturing Company.Position will be based in the Cleveland area. Company has 40 production facilities throughout the world. 21 of these sites are in Europe, 12 in North America and 7 in Asia.

The ideal candidate will have worked as an engineer in the following areas: heat transfer engineering, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) and analyzing processes to identify potential over-pressure relief scenarios before going into a sales career.

KEYS:

Four year degree is required .
A successful track record in a manufacturing sales environment.
Stable work history.
10 years of exerience in commercial sales
Five years of successful sales management experience

Understands and analyzes key regional economic information, trends, market segments and requirements, customer segmentation, customer value, our product offer, key market challenges, competitive environment, and our SWOT profile in allocated region, etc
Develops and formulates short (1yr) and mid-term (5 yr) regional goals (order entry, sales, selling cost, resources, accounts receivables), and strategy how to achieve long-term goals
Develops and manages roadmap and actions how to achieve 1 yr goals. Tracks development of KPI’s vs budget. Provides forecasts. Proposes actions to solve issues. Proposes contingency plan in case of deviations from budget.
Identifies and manages sales opportunities to grow business within given Process Technology strategy. Coordinates open points with PM, Operations, Controlling and Corporate functions.
Develops “best of breed" sales force and utilizes PT’s competence centers and global resources in key projects to get highest ratings from our key customers in regard to key success factors.
Segments and prioritizes customers and allocates resources and services according to customer segmentation.
Executes BT and product group strategy in allocated region. Ensures that sales force operates within given strategy.
Gives proactively input to Business Team (events with significant business impact), Product Management (development of product group strategies) and Business Development (new Business Development projects)
Understands overall scope of our business and support other functions to achieve business goals.
Responsible for 4 direct reports and interfaces with Product Management, Operations, Controlling, Business Development, and Process Technology Team

Base salary is in the $115,000 range plus bonus
