Executive Job Description | Multi-billion dollar healthcare company looking for Director of Revenue Operations in Irvine, California.
Requirements:
Minimum of five to seven years of related experience.
Increasing levels of senior leadership responsibility in a Healthcare Revenue Operations Environment.
Effectively use delegation and coordination skills for trending and reporting purposes.
Experience with strategic planning and implementation of new initiatives: Note: most important, new ideas/new strategies.
Strong knowledge of department specific operational functions (ex: Billing, Collections or Patient Registrations) in order to effective improve Revenue Operations.
Bachelor's degree.
10-20% travel.
Day to day responsibilities:
Strategic planning, quality, productivity and qualitative metrics of designated Revenue Operations area including any of the following: Primary/Secondary Collections, Medicare/Medicaid/Patient Billing, Acquisition/Integrations, Patient Admission Services, or Ancillary Services to ensure department goals and objects are achieved, in alignment with the company's mission and core values.
Building high performing teams, including the following: Write and conduct teammate evaluations, individual performance plans, quarterly snapshots, individual nominations and establish short-term and log-term goals.
Participate in appropriate committees as needed.
Direct and participate in disciplinary measures as appropriate.
Attend and participate in Revenue Operations Director meetings to discuss overall strategies and planning for Revenue Operations department.
Recommend and monitor department budgets and develop methods for improvement.
Responsible for managing the entire department specif processes to insure that both internal and external customers are supported.
Be actively engaged in the recruitment and hiring process with People Services: improve recruitment and retention efforts.
Understand and follow the company's teammate handbook for safety, security policies and procedures.
Work on continual development of individual skills and behaviors that promote the company's way of management and the core values.
Express clearly the communication between upper management and teammates as well as address teammate relations issues as applicable.
