Executive Job Description
Director of Sales Recruiters
Mission:
Create and manage a 2-3 person team that produces a constant flow of “A” candidates for CoStar’s Account Executive positions. Hiring estimated to be 10-15 “A” players per month for at least the next year. Continually improve the recruiting process, ensuring the full implementation of the Who Hiring method. Personally conduct senior sales management position searches.
Outcomes:
 Hire, train and manage a 2-3 person "A" level sales recruiting team.
 Fully implement the Who hiring method (from the book “Who” by Geoff Smart & Randy Street http://www.whothebook.com/).
 Proactively identify ‘A’ candidates, sell CoStar, culture & products to get them to next step of interviewing with hiring managers (Regional Directors).
 Coach the Regional Directors to improve their sourcing, interview skills, selection and people management process and ensure they are using the Who Hiring method.



 Within 6 months, create a pipeline of “A” caliber candidates in the top 15 major markets across the US and vertical groups across the US (Financial Services, Retail Specialists, etc) in order to fill any open territory with an A player in 4 weeks or less from notification of need.
 Have a full understanding of Commercial Real Estate business and CoStar’s role in the industry and how the various Commercial Real Estate verticals use our products.

Competencies:
 Has built or managed a team of “A” level recruiters.
 Has 5 years of Sales recruiting experience.
 Experience in recruiting from the Commercial Real Estate industry.
