Executive Job Description | Director Leadership Development Location: Rockville, MD Salary: Excellent & bonus Relocation possible
Our client is a major aerospace systems developer.
The Director Leadership Development will support the design and delivery of corporate executive development strategies, programs and services to deliver the senior leadership capabilities required across the company. This individual will provide senior leadership development support for the VP and higher population aligned to the company Performance Centered Leadership framework as well as to the enterprise talent management strategy. It will also support the definition of leadership competencies as well as functional leader development initiatives within the company.
Responsibilities: Support leadership development strategies, services and development interventions including the review of current PCL programs and competencies. Design and deploy PCL related programs and related development activities for senior level leaders Provide support and coordination of functional initiatives within the company. Deliver effective and efficient service to clients Provide ongoing feedback and input into the design and implementation of talent management strategies, systems and processes Support development of organizational strategies to support leadership effectiveness
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Leadership or Organizational Development or related field Experience -Minimum 7-10 years of relevant experience Experience in organizational development (OD) and/or talent management preferred. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills Strong customer focus and able to build relationships and establish trust, respect, competence, and confidence. Experience working with all levels of management. Ability to coach senior executives and facilitate executive groups and committees. Experience and competence working internationally and with other cultures.
Ideal candidate: MS or PhD in Human Resources, Leadership or Organizational Development or related field 10-15 years of relevant experience
