Executive Job Description | Restaurant chain seeks a Director, Human Resources to provide leadership and counsel on company’s policies to field operations. This role is responsible for providing guidance on policies including HR law, labor relations, compliance, safety and worker’s compensation. The individual selected will provide counsel in employee relations, assist the field with interpretation of labor agreements contract language, keep appraised of safety issues and offer the field direction in employee awareness training programs. The Director of Human Resources will provide direction, education and supervision of field Human Resource Managers. The Director of HR will attend quarterly meetings provide insight and recommendations as it pertains to human resources and employee relations.
Requirements:
Successful candidate must have a minimum of five year’s experience in human resources including employee relations and compliance. The individual selected for this role must have prior supervisory experience and solid leadership and organizational skills with the ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations, and law. Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary in this role. A bachelor’s degree is required. Higher education is desirable.
