Executive Job Description | POSITION SUMMARY:
My client is a Fortune 500 employer looking for top talent in H/R. This Position will serve as a business partner to Business Unit (B/U) leadership team, understanding the business strategies and objectives while applying HR solutions in a proactive manner. Role will perform diverse assignments involving compensation, staffing, performance management, employee satisfaction, reward and recognition, succession management and organizational development.
This position will also be required to provide assistance to other Divisions and/ or HR Projects as requested by the VP HR within the division (20% of role). Role will require up to 20% travel.
This position reports directly to the General Manager of the Division and Business Unit (B/U) and also VP HR per assigned projects
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.
* Improve organizational performance via the application of competitive HR practices * Leadership capability assessment and development * Coach leadership to increase understanding and application of people processes/ policy (improve leadership effectiveness thru team development). * Apply experience to deliver full scope of HR solutions including but not limited to: talent assessment, acquisition, succession planning and development * Strategic workforce planning (Full B/U team reviews) * Translate business and HR strategies into operational/actionable plans. * Ensure a positive employee relations environment through strong relationships at all levels of the business (survey management). * Performance management * Compensation and benefit management * Employee retention management * Monthly "Focus on Five," Recruitment, Safety and Ad hoc Reporting * Drive HR policy, process and practice to ensure effective execution and compliance with policies. * Along with those identified below, other duties may be assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
* You must possess a four year college degree from an accredited institution * A Master's degree is a plus * You must be actively working in a manufacturing company that values "Top End" H/R * You must possess the ability to be promotes to the next level * You must be strategic but have the presence to also be hands-on where approriate |
