Executive Job Description
Shenandoah Valley area. This position manages the day-to-day operations of the Human Resource office. The HR manages the administration of the human resources policies, procedures and programs. The HR Generalist carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: departmental development, Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organizational development, and employment. Relocation is paid, and salary is up to $120.000 per year.

The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for all or part of these areas:

§ Recruiting and staffing logistics;

§ Manage 4 direct reports.

§ Able to formulate and implement policies and procedures,

§ Maintain knowledge of up-to-date regulations, both federal and state

§ Performance management and improvement systems;
organization development;

§ Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns and reporting;

§ Employee orientation, development, and training;

§ Policy development and documentation;

§ Employee relations;

§ Company employee communication;

§ Compensation and benefits administration;

§ Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health; and

§ Employee services and counseling.

Candidate Profile:

§ Minimum of 7 years in a senior management HR Position with a company of 400+ employees.

§ Strong Generalist background, must have SPHR certification, Bachelors Degree required, Masters Degree preferred.

§ Bachelor's degree required, MBA is desirable.

§ Strong analytical quantitative and PC software skills required.

§ Outstanding communication skills, including: strong negotiation, influencing and collaboration skills.

§ Strong interpersonal, coaching, consulting and process and project management skills.

§ Experience with vendor selection, negotiation and relationship management.

§ Strong leadership skills and ability to manage a high performing team

§ Must thrive in a fast pace and changing environment.
