Executive Job Description | Our strictly retained client is a publicly traded over one billion dollar plastics and metals distribution company located in Franklin Park, Illinois. The company has a well-deserved reputation as well-run, strategically sound and financially secure. The company has recently made a major acquisition.
This key role repors to an experienced and influential Vice President of Human Resources. The major focus of this role is employee relations for this complex, multilocation, primarily non-union distribution company. In addition, the Director of Human Resources will serve as a trusted partner of the line leadership and the "go to" executive on human resources issues effecting the company's operations.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should reside within commuting distance of Franklin Park, Illinois, our retained client's corporate headquarters.
In addition, the ideal candidate should have the following:
An undergraduate degree in an appropriate discipline, an advanced degree strongly preferred.
10 or more years of generalist experience with a very strong focus one employee relations.
Strong experience managing human resources in a large, complex, multi-location manufacturing company.
Polished, intellectually curious, personally approachable.
