Executive Job Description | Director Corporate Marketing
The bank is a large, stable and well-capitalized bank. Recent acquisitions have dramatically increased the size and scope of the bank.
Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
Overview: Lead the positioning of the Bank as a premier provider in the marketplace
Responsible for the strategic design and implementation of enterprise-wide marketing policies and programs that target the Bank’s marketing activities. Ensure the development of objectives and the monitoring of performance objectives against goal.
Directs the building and implementing the Bank’s planning and execution efforts across all business lines. This involves leading the Corporate Marketing team to provide aspirational and value added marketing to Retail, Business Banking, Asset Management, Corporate and Institutional Banking, Mortgage and Global Investment Servicing. This includes all advertising, promotions branch merchandising, e-Commerce and in-house creative services and outside agency management.
Essential Functions:
Partner with Knowledge Management to use customer research and satisfaction data to develop marketing solutions.
Collaborate with business areas to set marketing priorities.
Develop and implement cohesive brand strategy across business lines and channels.
Lead development of message strategy, media planning and creative execution of the Bank’s agency partners.
Drive the integration of strategic tools of various communication disciplines including advertising, sales promotion, collateral, merchandising sponsorships; cause marketing, creative services, e-commerce and brand management initiatives (i.e., problem resolution).
Participate with the Bank’s leadership team in setting strategic direction to enable accelerated growth.
Build and strengthen human capital within Corporate Marketing.
Education: Bachelors degree
Experience: 15 years of work related experience and at least 5 years of managing a similar functional area.
