Executive Job Description | Responsible for overall design, implementation, communication and administration of the organizations compensation and benefit programs. Additionally, the position plans, directs and carries out policies relating to all phases of these benefits and compensation programs across all FQ operations.
Some principal responsibilities include:
* Conduct wage surveys within the labor market for both hourly and salaried team members to determine wage rates and ensure that the organizations compensation program is competitive with the market place. * Evaluate and recommend new benefit or compensation plans or modifications to existing plans. Work closely with selected benefits consulting group to constantly be updated on trends and important developments that could affect the FQ programs. * Work closely with operations and HR management team to understand team members needs and reactions to possible recommended changes. * Create an environment of employee communication on all areas of benefits. Help drive employee understanding of the market place and how they can actively be involved in effecting costs by their own behaviors. * Develop and maintain recordkeeping systems and procedures on insurance coverage's claims, pension/retirement plans and personnel transactions/activities such as new hires, promotions, transfers and terminations. * Serve as employee advocate for the Administrative Group while balancing the role of internal business partner. Monitors employment practices and decision to ensure fair and ethical practices that promote effective employee relations thereby promoting a high level of employee morale and creating a positive work environment.
Successful candidate will have the following skills:
* Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field. MS in Human Resources or MBA preferred. * 10 years of experience as a senior level Human Resources Manager and/or Compensation and Benefits Manager. * Must have a strong business acumen with a proven track record of progressively increased Human Resources roles in manufacturing. * Knowledgeable in the areas of 401K plans, HRIS systems, programs and implementation.
Position is located on Long Island. Local candidates only. Comp: to $145k + bonus.
