Reporting Relationship:
The Director, Client Solutions (CS) will report to a Vice President, CS.

Responsibilities:
The Director will work as a strategic partner with an IRI client. The Director will serve as a leader of this critical client relationship and as such, will be charged with building rapid rapport with key client contacts and across functions within the highly matrixed IRI organization. While daily client interface will cut across the functional heads of Market Research, Marketing, Brand and Finance, key emphasis will involve consulting with Marketing to apply/maximize insights gleaned from IRI data. The Director will serve as a passionate advocate for the client and in so doing advocate solutions that will best build the Client’s business. From time-to-time this will involve advocating and “selling” strategy in a highly charged environment. The Director will be in prime position to “own” the client relationship and in the unique position to drive the development of this client from day one. Resources available include IRI’s world class bank of unparalleled knowledge capital, aligned sales and product development departments and a proven corporate track record of delivering strategic solutions versus data. While exceeding revenue targets is key, success is equally measured by the ability to create indispensable, long-term, solution-focused consultative partnerships.

Other Responsibilities:
 Tie contractual and ad-hoc solutions to critical client issues
 Participate in the development and management of the Client Engagement Model.
 Incorporate internal IRI Subject Matter Experts into client relationships as appropriate
 Coordinate client solutions across multiple IRI functions (i.e., Analytics, Technology Consulting...etc.)
 Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews
 Team leadership/development meetings
 Must be able to travel
 Relentless adherence to deadlines
 Seek out and engage learning opportunities/apply key learning

Required Experience:
 Seven plus years of CPG experience in an analytically driven marketing or sales environment
 Experience solving business issues with the consultative application of modeling, household panel, or testing techniques in a CPG setting
 Should have experience (delivery, interpretation, application) in several of the following analyses: marketing mix, sku optimization, price elasticity, consumer segmentation, cluster/factor/regression analyses, brand loyalty, attitude and usage, trial and repeat
 Ability to translate knowledge of CPG business functions into opportunities to advance best-in-class business solutions
 In-depth knowledge of syndicated research products, services and methodologies.
 Unwavering ability to “get the job done whatever it takes”
 Demonstrated leadership, communication and interpersonal skills
 Demonstrated experience in consulting and business development--a hunger for profitability and overall business success

Education:
Undergraduate required. Advanced degree preferred.

Compensation:
IRI will provide a comprehensive compensation package including salary and benefits, and participation in the 2010 Bonus Plan.
