Executive Job Description	Widely recognized national restaurant chain seeks a Director of Advertising and Merchandising. This role is responsible for the creation and management of all printed and broadcast materials that support the marketing strategy. The individual selected will be the main day-to-day point person for national projects as well as providing support to field marketing initiatives. The Director of Advertising will interface with the agency and marketing leadership to ensure our organization has the most creative, innovative and cost-effective advertising products in the industry. Essential duties include management of the development of all in-store merchandising materials and the production of menus, including all aspects of design, estimating, budget management and distribution. This role will work together with other departments to develop traffic-driving, consistent brand elements that support overall business objectives and will develop local promotional extensions to maximize national calendar activities. The individual selected for this position will also manage the creative execution of the company’s website, direct marketing and relationship marketing efforts. This role will manage a team of 3-5 marketing professionals and reports to the Vice President of Marketing. Requirements: Successful candidate must have a strong marketing background with in the restaurant industry. Agency experience would be a plus. Organization is looking for an individual with exceptional communication skills – both interpersonal and platform skills; and strong organizational abilities with in a fast pace moving environment. Ability to work closely with advertising and merchandising agencies, direct their efforts and hold accountable for meeting deadlines and budget requirements is critical to this role. A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field is required.
