Executive Job Description | DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Working closely with business groups to create quantitative tools, analyses, and surveillances which monitor the organizations trading activity; (2) Developing risk models that detect trading behaviors that are not in accordance with organizational policy and industry regulations; (3) Playing a critical role in the complete software development lifecycle including prototyping, requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance; (4) Developing, documenting, and validating risk models; (5) Developing new surveillances and extending existing ones; (6) Performing quantitative risk analysis and communicating the results to the business and technology teams; (7) Working closely with the trading, technology, clearing, and finance departments to assist with the implementation of compliance programs; (8) Creating surveillance reports; (9) Building code and scripts for database queries.
REQUIRED:
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT SQL, C#, Python.
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT web based reporting, preferably in ASP.NET.
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT ability to conduct statistical analysis.
MUST have excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills.
MUST be able to see the ‘forest’ and the ‘trees’ in equal detail.
Pluses: Experience with Bloomberg, Reuters, SEC, and SRO rules and regulations.
