Executive Job Description	Our client, a major media outlet headquartered in New York is seeking their Deputy Controller to work in the corporate finance division. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; monthly consolidations of Financial Statements; Managing the interaction with the External Auditors; coordinating and managing the monthly close process by interacting with operating units; variance and flux analysis; coordination with the publication of the 10K/10Q internal reports and other such required reports; Monitoring of Tax accounting; Compliance with policies and procedures and to help improve internal controls over financial reporting. This person will also be expected to help with staff development. Requirements: The proper candidate will have an undergraduate degree in Accounting or Finance and must has a CPA designation. He/She should have 3-5 years of public accounting experience coupled with 3-5 years of private experience. Strong management and communication skills are essential. He/she must be able to interface at all levels. This role reports directly to the Head of Control.
