DIRECTOR, PRODUCT MARKETING - LIFE SCIENCES
Location: NJ
My client is a leading developer of software solutions for the life sciences industry. They have a very strong existing client base (Global Pharma) and have consistently over-achieved targets. This is a stable leader in the industry with a proven track record and consistent growth yr over yr.

Responsibilities:
- Identify growth opportunities for my client (product, segment, geography, etc.).
- Perform competitive analysis and recommend ways to differentiate new products.
- Develop a segmentation model to better target prospects and build go-to-market strategies.
- Develop and document customer/partner requirements for our product.
- Gain agreement with other functions to deliver customer/partner requirements.
- Participate in and represent Marketing in company-wide launch process.
- Develop go-to-market plans for each new product launch including positioning, messaging, fact sheet, customer presentation, FAQs, webinars/seminars, and other deliverables, as appropriate.
- Increase demand for products by customers, partners and industry influencers.
- Manage within budget.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Knowledge and experience with a business process application, areas of clinical research or healthcare preferred
- Knowledge and experience in market research.
- Knowledge and experience in building a marketing plan.
- Knowledge and experience in building a brand image.
- Knowledge and experience in designing and executing marketing and communications programs.
- Ability to think logically and analytically to solve complex problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in managing projects and people and forming virtual teams working with various functions (i.e., R&D, Sales, Finance, HR, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Self-motivated, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner.
- Bachelors degree, preferably in a marketing or related field;
Compensation:
70-100k Base Salary + Bonus
