Controller-Assistant to the CFO
Beverly Hills, CA
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelors Degree + seven years management experience
· Bi-Lingual Japanese ( will interface on a regular basis with parent company in Tokyo)
· Prior company consolidation experience
· CPA Certification Knowledge of Japanese Sarbanes-Oxley (J-SOX) compliance and GAAP desired.
This position acts as the Controller-Assistant to the CFO for Bosley, Aderans Hair Goods, Aderans Research Institute and Aderans America Holdings. We are a group of premier hair loss solution specialists through both surgery and hair goods products.
This position directs the preparation of reports that summarize and forecast the business activities and financial position in areas of income, expenses, and earnings based on past, present, and expected operations of the four subdivisions. Oversees the Controller activities of the four subdivisions and establishes and recommends to management, major economic objectives and policies for each subdivisions. Acts on behalf of the CFO in a direct reporting relationship with the parent company in Tokyo. Acts a direct liaison with outside entities requiring information from the CFO’s office. May arrange audits of company accounts. May prepare reports required by regulatory agencies. Directs determination of depreciation rates to apply to capital assets. May direct preparation of budgets. May advise management of desirable operational adjustments due to tax code revisions. May advise management property and liability insurance coverage needed. Any other duties may be assigned.
