Executive Job Description | CMO or President for a growing, entrepreneurial, positive-oriented, environmentally sound, successful and progressive company which provides unique consumer services in the healthy lifestyles arena and who has strong Marketing/Sales experience and orientation. This is a remarkable rare opportunity for someone who could be seeking the next level of Marketing leading to being the President or someone who is already a skilled and experienced President with strong Marketing abilities.
We seek a dynamic professional who has experience with a luxury (not bling or crunchy granola, but could be spiritual or lifestyle-oriented) and primarily female-focused consumer product or service company. The ideal individual will have had experience in an entrepreneurial and start-up environment, and will not be from a traditional, conservative, hierarchical corporation with too much established structure. Hotel, resort, wellness or spa experience is a plus, but isn’t a requirement.
If the person is selected as President or CMO the position will report to the CEO. As President the person will be responsible for all aspects of Operations, Marketing; Sales and Support (HR/Finance) for a few linked properties. The company is also open to someone who is a marketing ninja and can excel so quickly that the person has an opportunity to rise to the President level within a reasonable time frame.
We seek someone who possesses extraordinary passion, drive and willingness to work closely with managers and associates providing them direction, vision, and hands-on assistance when necessary. We seek someone who has the time and energy to make this client’s brand even more positively different and even more compelling and believable to the upscale consumer who prefers a high quality experience. The professional must be able to move quickly from seeing challenges at the 30,000 level to the needle eye angle and back again swiftly. This professional marketing individual will have both left and right brain strengths and be responsible for marketing, sales, public relations, branding, and consumer awareness.
The lucky selected individual will most likely be down-to-earth, fun, stable, sharp (in terms of smarts and presentation), and engaged in the mission of the company which is part of the $2 trillion dollar global wellness industry. This person will also have experience and history of being able to shift from work to personal lives in a balanced way making room for the most important aspects of life – family, friends, food/wine, and wellness activities.
This professional will travel about 40%, be located on the east coast (or relocate there), and have salary requirements in the $300k range plus bonus and company equity.
