Executive Job Description
currently seeks a Business Development professional to grow our presence in existing and adjacent markets in order to meet our diversification and financial objectives. We seek a highly resourceful, ethical, and customer relationship-oriented marketing individual that can identify and grow demand for transit services and solutions particular for commuter, corporate, governments and retail tourist travel customers.

Responsibilities include market identification & analysis, relationship development/management, along with opportunity-specific capture management, leading to the award of major accounts with emphasis on recurring transportation contracts.

This position will include customer contact, consultative service positioning; teaming and coordination with other areas such as operations, customer service, sales and finance. Demonstrated ability to establish customer relationships, successfully understand their transit needs and convert to recurring revenue contracts is essential.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
A minimum of 7 - 10 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or proposal development for transit customers/markets with repeat/regular transport needs. Experience in mass transit and chartered motor coach marketing is highly desirable. A proven track record of crafting responses to transit RFPs administered by federal, state and local government agencies

Existing relationships or credentials with government customers along with a demonstrated ability to penetrate new markets or leverage customer relationships into revenue growth is also highly desired.

The candidate must be an organized and aggressive professional with proven successes in competitive transits contracts, particularly in identifying untapped markets and/or extending transport services into emerging areas such as alternative commuter and/or regional corporate travel. The candidate should have experience with developing and implementing market entry and penetration sales strategies.

The successful personal characteristics should include excellent communication skills, integrity, disciplined and professional presence. The ability to operate effectively in complex environments with shifting priorities is essential.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
 High school diploma or GED
 Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
 Computer literate, facile knowledge of Microsoft Office and similar applications
