Executive Job Description | About Our Client Our client is a full service securities firm offering product and services to meet clients’ investment needs. The firm is staffed by experienced professionals who have worked in a big firm environment, some for as long as 30 years. Putting the customer’s needs first is paramount. The firm proudly fosters an entrepreneurial and supportive environment for its employees.
Position Description To be a successful Broker, one must be able to build deep relationships with a range of clients, establish credibility as a source of trustworthy advice, and excel at building a business. As a Broker, you will report to the branch Manager. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
• Selling to and servicing an existing client base developed through client • Build your business by identifying and cultivating prospective clients, and building on current client relationships • Proven knowledge of the financial industry • Ability to quickly learn and market a variety of financial products and services. • Strong Sales and/or management background • Commitment and relationship building skills that are crucial to establishing long- term clients • Help clients to determine financial and investment needs, and utilize sales skills to effectively recommend suitable financial products • Develop a consultative, rather than a transaction-oriented, approach toward clients and prospects • Be trained in financial products to suit a variety of objectives and risk levels
Experience/Skills Required To be successful in this position you must possess and effectively demonstrate the following skills:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work experience • Having an established book of business, preferably with a focus in Latin America. • NASD Series 7 • NASD Series 63, 65, or 66 • At least 3 years industry experience • Exceptional communication • Building customer loyalty as a way to demonstrate excellence at client service • Contributing to team success • Ability to work with very limited supervision
Compensation The successful candidate will receive a competitive compensation package commensurate with experience and qualifications. |
