Executive Job Description | General Summary Responsible for managing the day-to-day of the advertising, media, consumer promotions (sweepstakes, rebates & co-op), shows, catalogs and CRM/Database initiatives. Principal Duties and Accountabilities (*Essential Functions) • Manages the annual brand planning process to identify the objectives, strategies & tactics including: o Advertising o Media o Consumer Promotions (sweepstakes, rebates & co-op) o Shows o Catalogs o CRM/Database
• Responsible for the development, execution and measurement of tactical marketing plans.
• Accountable for managing the appropriate marketing budget as well as reporting on qualitative and quantitative results on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Works with the consumer insights department to gather and analyze consumer information to discover key insights. • Works with the Channel Marketing team to ensure the execution of tactical marketing plans.
• Responsible for hiring, developing and coaching direct reports.
Qualifications, Educational Skills and Experience
Education/Experience: • Bachelor degree in Business Administration – Marketing required (MBA preferred). • Minimum of 3 to 5 years marketing experience within a Consumer Goods Company (minimum of 2 years of consecutive Brand/Marketing Manager experience).
Other Skills and Abilities: • Experience with creative development process and program execution • Highly organized and very strong, proven project management skills • Experienced in managing and directing agencies • Self-starter and able to work independently and work effectively within cross-functional teams • Sound analytical skills and acute attention to details, adept at creative thinking and problem solving • Passionate about the business opportunity and strong communication skills
