Executive Job Description | The “Associate Director/Director” is the lead HR spot at the location and will report to the VP, Human Resources located at corporate and the Head of Manufacturing. This position will provide HR leadership and manages employee relations and engagement, recruiting and talent management, compensation, EEO, HR administration and systems, and communications for two manufacturing sites in New Jersey. Initially the primary focus will be recruiting, building work teams and creating a productive employee relations climate in the assigned manufacturing locations. Manage HR generalists, administrators and any contractors on site.
In this role the incumbent will be responsible for challenging existing processes and systems and install enhancements; diagnosis organizational performance issues, intervene and develop and implement solutions. The incumbent needs to be resilient, and willing to go in and fix problems, “clean up messes,” work in unsophisticated environments with broken systems.
MUST HAVE CURRENT PHARMACEUTICAL MANUFACTURING INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE.
Requirements • BA/BS Human Resources, Business or related major. • 7-10 years Human Resources experience with a focus on Organizational Development, Talent Management and Development, some recruiting experience preferably in Pharmaceutical or Consumer Products Manufacturing. • Lean manufacturing exposure essential. • Demonstrated expertise of HR processes and practices (especially employee relations and engagement, talent management staffing / recruiting, team and people development). • Demonstrated ability to work through complex business issues, identify and deliver required HR interventions. • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, communication (oral and written) and consulting skills required. Leads by example • Able to develop relationships and influence at all levels within an organization.
