Executive Job Description | We are searching for an Account Manager (AM) who will work remotely in close proximity to the primary customer’s location (either Tucson, Arizona or Los Angeles, California) and manage business development, sales and customer communication for a single or several tier one customers. AM will work closely with the internal business unit sales channels to build customer relationships and ensure synchronization between our industry leading capabilities and the needs of the customers. The AM will provide customer centric business plans and forecasts to peers, senior and executive management identifying critical tactical and strategic actions necessary to exceed established goals. Required to obtain and maintain security clearance, which requires USA Citizenship. RESPONSIBILITIES: -In depth knowledge of the microwave electronics marketplace focused on defense applications. -Develop relationships or leverage existing relations with key customer decision makers. -Lead complex new development opportunity pursuits creating win strategies and price to win approaches that maximize the value proposition. -Create customer centric business strategies aligned with the overall business plan for new business development, including understanding customer base need and requirements. -Lead meetings with Engineering, Programs and Marketing departments to determine customer investments and engineering support needs. -Generate monthly reports such forecast, significant events and major account updates. -Communicate tactically and strategically relevant data to the business units. -Lead cross-divisional and cross-functional teams within to maximize opportunity content on every system and platform; -Maximize direct customer interface and visibility by coordinating business units customer contact plans and if appropriate managing an indirect sales channels such as Sales Representatives.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS: Requires a minimum of five (5) years of sales, marketing, business development, engineering or program management experience and a track record of success in the Aerospace and Defense Industry. Requires a Bachelor degree, preferably in engineering or other related disciplines and studies in Marketing or Business.
