Directed the ongoing planning, organization, and direction of information technology projects, personnel and operations, emphasizing real-time market data services. Supported a nationwide retail broker network consisting of 2,500 brokers and a Capital Markets trading group.
Selected Accomplishments:
·Created and executed a plan that reduced annual market data budget by $8 million or 30% a year. Plan included deployment of new, less expensive, more efficient service, negotiation of new service contracts, and introduction of new methodologies for quote usage payment to Exchanges.
·Implemented new operating policies and procedures for market data feed providers, reducing the number of reported outages by 60%.

Worked closely with the SVP of Operations to manage the team and day-to-day operations of a 32,000 square foot “hot site” facility that included an 8,000 square foot data center and 500 trading desks. Recommended, implemented and managed integrated solutions for customers trading floor continuity requirements.

·Managed over 36 disaster recovery tests during 3-year period, including one account that was comprised of 214 positions.
·Planned and managed customer relocation to Rutherford, NJ facility in a 3 month time period. The project included rebuilding a 100 position customer trading floor profile including; ordering new circuitry, organization of cable installation, placement of 5 different market data feeds and 6 inter-dealer broker feeds, the reinstallation of a V-Band Turret system, the deployment of 250 pieces of hardware and the complete supervision of technical staff team.
