• Controller (Global Insurance Company)
As Controller of a 700 person consultancy group, I was responsible for all planning, budgeting and financial reporting. This role was new for the company and I was responsible for the creation of all infrastructure, and policies and procedures. Significant achievements include the following:
1) Provided planning, budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting of operational results to senior management and 22 field divisions
2) Significantly improved communication of monthly financial results through presentation of financials with appropriate business metrics
3) Implemented unit costs and business metrics to help measure and manage results (upstream and downstream measures)
4) Led the financial analysis and recommendations for merging a $20 million dollar consultancy group with the parent company that met executive management targets

• Vice President of Finance (Global Insurance Company subsidiary)
As Vice President of Finance for a computer software company (certification testing software), I was responsible for all aspects of financial operations. My responsibilities included the management of on-site accountants along with the monitoring of financial and operational outcomes and recommendations for operations to achieve targets. 1) Led due diligence team on subsidiary acquisition including development of financial models and negotiated all aspects of the purchase and sale agreement with the acquired company's owner
