EXPERIENCE 1997 – Present General Manager – (1998-Present)
Provides technology and operations services to hedge fund families and provides treasury technology processing to banks and broker-dealers. Products are delivered as full service outsourcing to mid and large size banks, brokers and hedge funds. Responsibilities for all day to day aspects of the company’s operations including product and business development, sales and account management, production and services, budgets, planning, and strategy. Main headquarters in Princeton, NJ, but also has offices in New York, Paris, Geneva, and London. Responsible for approximately 150 employees with about a $35 million revenue stream and is managed as a freestanding subsidiary. General Manager (1998 - 2002) – Global Solution Created, built, delivered, and sold global technology processing platform to the brokerage division’s largest outsource service customers, which are banks and brokerage firms. Product provided on an outsource basis and provides a full range of back office processing across a wide array of financial instuments.. Led large scale sales and conversions to major bank and brokers
Senior Vice President, Brokerage Group (1997 – 1998) Provided technology and transaction processing services to the banking and securities industries. Responsibilities have included overall management of five organizations previously acquired and one acquired during tenure.
1992 – 1997 ING GROUP, New York and London ING Barings, Americas – New York Chief Operating Officer (1992 – 1997) Responsible for managing all of the technology, operations and finance functions in the Americas. This group had responsiblities for processing and reporting on a very wide range of regulated and non-regulated products and services generating revenue of about $250 mil. There were approximately 325 support staff.
Global Product Manager (1996 – 1997) Responsible for the global development of a prime brokerage type product based in New York with desks in London, Hong Kong, and Tokyo.
ING Barings, Global - London Chief Operating Officer (1995 - 1996) Following the Barings acquisition acted as the Global COO based in London to restore the failed Barings operation.
ING Bank / ING Capital, U.S. Head of Administration (1992 - 1994) Responsible for administration and operation of the ING Bank entities in the United States.
1991 – 1992 BANK OF BOSTON, Boston, MA Chief Financial Officer – National Banking Group Responsibilities included strategic planning, management of internal and business controls, identification of short term revenue enhancements, cost control, business unit sales and acquisitions, rebuilding of the finance organization and financial infrastructure, and managing profitability through budgetary and forecasting utilities.
1980 – 1990 THOMSON MCKINNON INC., New York New York based major securities and commodities brokerage with $2 billion in assets, $350 million in capital and over 5,000 employees. Senior Financial Officer Reported to the Chairman and President of the holding company. Responsibilities included accounting, capital planning, acquisitions, and divestitures.
1975 – 1980 COOPERS & LYBRAND Supervised audits of listed companies in many industries, financial services, insurance, and real estate. Major clients included Shearson Lehman Hutton, Inc. and Thomson McKinnon, Inc.
