MUSICIAN.COM INTERNET NETWORK WESTLAKE VILLAGE, CA 2000 2001 CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER Hired to integrate four internet technology companies and prepare for Initial Public Offering for this subsidiary of Guitar Centre (NYSE-GTRC), a $1 billion retailer/distributor of musical instruments. ACHIEVEMENTS: * Consolidated four operating units and instituted process improvements and expense controls which decreased monthly burn rate by 45% * Developed business plan, financial projections and road show presentation to secure multiple rounds of venture capital funding. HYETT CORPORATION - LOS ANGELES, CA 1995 2000 CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER/GENERAL MANAGER Hired to execute a financial turnaround of this multi-store retail chain specializing in consumer finance targeting the inner city Hispanic consumer market.
