Division President, North America Corporate Officer with full P&L responsibility for $6B division comprised of three distinct but interdependent business units. Directly managed Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations (Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D), and Human Resources, with matrix responsibility for shared service groups in IT, Purchasing, Accounting, Legal, Engineering and Quality. Reported to Regional President, led 12,000 division employees and functional leaders. Led division during North American Regions dramatic turnaround (2003-2007), increasing sales 31% and transforming a $125 million loss into $140 million profit. Shares rose 400% vs. 50% for S&P 500. Division President, Retail Brands, Food Service and Mexico Business Units P&L responsibility for $300MM operation including 3 discrete businesses: Retail Brands, Food Service Packaging, and a Mexican subsidiary. Duties included driving the 3-year strategic plan as well as design and delivery of annual plans. Reported to the CEO Americas, directing Sales, Marketing, Finance, R&D, Human Resources, Manufacturing Operations at six plants, and 1400 employees. Accelerated retail brands historical 2% growth rate to over 10% with new product lines. Expanded gross margins +2 points through price and mix optimization and new item volume. Merged back office operations of two divisions to reduce customer service overheads 40%.

Reported to President, Global Customers and directed a staff of 125 across Sales, Marketing Finance, Human Resources, Customer Service, IT and Analyst functions. Delivered double-digit revenue growth and improved customer profitability through new items mix, category management, logistics savings and customer marketing programs. Held category captaincy in 15 categories. Leveraged state-of-the-art logistics capabilities to deliver market-leading new item introductions, and create unique advantages for both supplier and Wal-Mart.
