Full P&L responsibility for the company, heading up all operations of this $20 million manufacturer of industrial organic chemicals and allied services employing a staff of 80, with focus in water and air pollution industries.
 Responsible for profit and loss of company, and all operations. Converted company to cash-management strategy
 Sales increased 25% and profits increased 200% over previous years through the implementation of stringent cost control and innovative personnel management programs, as well as new product development. Maintained profitability while working through customer bankruptcies and a down market. Made large sales through personal representation and redirected sales force.
 Installed self-directed work teams at manufacturing facilities.
 Reduced staffing by 20% while increasing throughput by promoting effective teamwork and greater management effectiveness.

DIRECTOR OF TECHNOLOGY 1994
Reorganized Technology Department, to improve output and costs, heading up the efforts of a staff of 26, including 12 PHD’s, for Technical Service; Process and Applications Development; Engineering; and Project Management for fluoropolymer resins, fluororubbers, and coatings for industrial/FDA approved uses.
 Reduced total department expenditures by $1 million per year, while increasing research project workload by 20%.
 Drove the development of several new polymers in response to market demands. Developments resulted in increased sales per year of almost 100%(approx. $120 million) for the company. Saved a plant from closing through innovative process changes.

 Managed a group of 30 chemical and mechanical engineers and designers, as well as managing $25 million worth of projects personally. Responsible for engineering services sales and project management of all projects for polymers and industrial products.
 Converted office from "job shop" operation to full-service engineering organization with incentive systems, personnel selection and appraisal systems, people empowerment, customer involvement, and enhanced project management systems
 Managed the team that grew the office workload 1000% up to $100 million in total installed project costs, with technical responsibility for all engineering disciplines.

PROCESS/PROJECT ENGINEER 1985- 1986
 Process engineer and project manager for over 60 small projects, including above period, for pilot plants to full-scale facilities, including warehouses, office structures, manufacturing facilities, and utilities for all manner of polymer and monomer products.
