TENNECO AUTOMOTIVE, Lake Forest, IL 2001-2004 Controller/CFO NORTH AMERICAN AFTERMARKET DIVISION-$500 MILLION PARTS MANUFACTURER AND DISTRIBUTOR. Traditional Controller responsibilities as well as strategic business planning, pricing, sales/marketing support, credit/collections, billing/receivable management, and control environment for manufacturer and distributor with 2 distinct product lines, 3 plants, 4 distribution centers, over 17,000 SKUs and more than 2,000 customer shipping locations. * Successfully directed achievement of earnings and cash flow growth for two consecutive years, despite 5%-6% year over year decline in revenues. * Restructured finance organization, eliminating 10% of workforce. * Led design and implementation of new Accounts Receivable strategies and work processes. Two-day improvement in DSO and reduction in outstanding receivable issues of over $10M. * Provided financial evaluation and recommendations on deal structures for significant new business opportunities of over $40M.
