Project Director, SGA optimization (September 2005 – September 2006) I led taskforces of Corporate and Business Group senior managers to work on reduction of SG&A worth US$ 230 million. The SGA ratio over sales dropped from 7% of sales in 2005 to 6,2% in 2006.
Project Director, Migration of consolidation (Sept. 2004 – September 2005) I took over an ailing project in November 2004, in an adverse context resulting from a difficult take over. I turned around the project by completely reviewing strategy and team and led it to success 8 months later. Migration of G$ 10 sales and 250 units, on budget (US$ 8 million worth of external consultants), in a stringent SOX environment.

Location: Europe Vice President Finance (2002 – 2004) Financial Controller (1999 – 2001) From 1999 to 2004, I have shaped in depth financial teams in the company’s leading and historical business (Euro 3.5 Billion sales). Upgrading of the entire Controllers’ network and merging accounting, control and business partnership functions into one single influential network of 15 controllers. Amongst main achievements, the network has implemented leading practices supporting sustainable continuous improvement savings of about US$ 20 million per year: Driving force leading business reviews and performance management; Financial follow-up based on tracing savings to the bottom line; Enhancement of forecast capabilities forcing reactivity from operations to meet targets.
Location: Australia Controller (1995-1998) of a Joint venture between European Company and several local and international partners. J.V. operated a multi billion dollar asset in the process industry My achievement was to lead a technically driven plant to become a financially driven organization. Actively promoted a AU$ 10 million cost savings program; Complete revamping of cost and KPI reporting systems and managerial follow-up; Implemented SAP with significant re-engineering in finance, maintenance and purchasing.
Location: Europe Assistant Manager, Consolidation department (1991 – 1995) I designed and implemented a new organization to sustain radical change from performing statutory consolidations twice a year to monthly consolidations (10 months, 3 forecast periods, 2 statutory consolidations). I hired, trained and technically supervised a team of 6 professionals. KPMG Europe Senior Auditor In charge of several medium sized referral audits for UK and US subsidiaries in France. (Gillette, IDV, Playtex, …). Accounting due diligence in acquisition of French medium sized industrial companies.
