A third party logistics provider offering contract manufacturing services to electronics component manufacturers such as Sun Microsystems, Polycom, and SeaChange International. Services included asset recovery and remanufacturing.

Named interim CEO during period of management transition and restructuring.
• Directed liquidation of company assets after loss of major customer.
• Teamed with Vice President, Business Development to develop new business proposals, call on key accounts, and improve customer service activities.

• Developed and rolled-out an enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform.

Recruited to strengthen executive team for period of rapid growth. Company grew from $1.5 million to $20 million during tenure.
• Raised company’s first senior debt and equity rounds to support growth plans.
• Led deal negotiations for acquisition, coordinated due diligence work and retained investment bank.
• Established infrastructure to support rapid growth in staff from 14 to 60 over nine months. Integrated project planning, order handling and accounting functions. Overhauled administrative functions.

High-growth start-up web services firm providing web-based curriculum tools to improve K-12 teacher and student achievement in under-performing schools. Acquired by Pearson Publishing, Inc. in 2006.

• Staffed and managed finance, accounting, human resources, legal and MIS functions during company’s ramp-up from $6 million to $15 million in revenue and from 25 to 110 employees.
• Closed on $4 million bridge round and $7 million venture equity round in first year.

Privately-held $20 million fine arts logistics and storage company operating in 12 U.S. locations. Acquired by Fortress Worldwide in 1998.
