PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
2005 – Present Finance Director Wal-Mart Financial Services, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., Bentonville, AR Direct the financial accounting, reporting, planning and analysis for a $100 million annual revenue division of Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. providing financial services products across the 3,200 store chain.
2003 – 2005 Vice President and Division Controller BOK Financial, Inc., Tulsa, Oklahoma Direct the financial accounting, reporting, planning and analysis of the Trust Division for a multi-state bank holding company with $13 billion in total assets and over 3,500 employees. The Trust Division managed over $21 billion in assets with a total staff of over 650 and included a mortgage banking subsidiary and broker/dealer operations. Managed a staff of 2 professionals, both Senior Financial Analysts.
1999 -2003 Chief Financial Officer Red River Technologies, LLC, Tulsa, Oklahoma Directed the financing requirements, financial record keeping, accounting and reporting for a start-up, management owned administrator of contact center services and telecommunications software development with first year revenues of $3 million and 45 employees. Responsibilities encompassed all the company’s financial and accounting requirements and managed a staff of 2 professionals. Company liquidated due to poor economic conditions.
Red River Technologies was the predecessor to Records Retrieval, Inc., which was sold to its major customer in February, 2001. As Chief Financial Officer for Records Retrieval, directed all financial aspects, including financing requirements, financial record keeping, accounting and reporting for this privately held provider of contact center services and telecommunications software development with annual revenues of $40 million and 1,700 employees.
1997-1999 Finance Division Director and Controller Commercial Financial Services, Inc., Tulsa, Oklahoma As chief accounting officer, directed all financial record keeping, accounting and reporting for a privately held debt collection company with annual revenues of $1 billion and 3,800 employees. Responsibilities included directing all consolidated financial accounting and reporting functions; establishing and maintaining accounting policies and procedures; administering payroll, accounts payable and treasury management functions; developing corporate-wide financial analysis projects and processes, acquisition analysis and due diligence support. Managed 45 professionals, CPA’s and clerical staff, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
1985-1997 Senior Vice President and Controller Boatmen’s Bancshares, Inc., St. Louis, Missouri (acquired by Bank of America in 1997) Chief accounting officer for a $41 billion multi-bank holding company operating in 9 Midwestern states with over 650 locations and 20,000 employees. Responsibilities included directing all financial accounting and reporting, all accounting policies and procedures, annual budget process, and various other financial analysis projects and processes. Participated in identification, due diligence, closing and integration of over 60 acquisitions of banks and bank holding companies. Managed a total staff of 37 reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, served on the board of directors of a subsidiary credit card bank and member of asset and liability management committee.

1980-1984 Assistant Vice President and Assistant Comptroller Mercantile Trust Company, N.A., St. Louis, Missouri Directed all accounting functions, including internal and external financial reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, and profitability analysis for the $4 billion lead bank of the state’s largest bank holding company.
