KRAFT FOODS INC., Northfield, IL (2/07–10/07) Treasury Manager Key member of Front-Office Markets Execution Team. Managed the daily issuance of Kraft's $5 billion US commercial paper program. Conducted stock repurchase program in accordance with 10B-5 rules while considering company’s cash flow. Monitored the relative performance of brokers through scorecards and performance metrics.
-Significantly lowered Kraft’s short-term funding costs by using gap analysis and utilizing Kraft’s ECP program to arbitrage funding costs among different currencies. -Prevented Kraft from drawing on credit facility by maintaining productive relationships with dealers assuring liquidity and market access.
