YOUTHSTREAM MEDIA NETWORKS, INC. 1996-2000 New York City based, NASDAQ listed, young adult media and marketing services company with revenues of over $25 million. Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer EVP and CFO of this dynamic service company which had eight locations and sales of $25 million. Led deal making and integration of ten acquisitions into a single cohesive and responsive company. Selected and implemented state-of-the-art accounting and control systems and trained staff to produce required public company reports, useful management information and investor relations materials. Built finance, accounting, human resources, employee benefits, and insurance departments.
GREY GLOBAL GROUP INC. 1992-1996 New York City based, NASDAQ listed, top 4 global advertising and service company with over $1.2 billion in revenues. International Chief Financial Officer Responsible for profit planning, budgeting and financial reporting for global operations of a major advertising and marketing services company consisting of more than 275 offices generating over $2.5 billion in billings in 72 countries with three direct, regional finance director reports. Troubleshooter for foreign operations experiencing difficulty. Initiated and implemented a European holding company structure saving over $2.0 million in taxes on accrued dividends. Set up a European finance subsidiary to recapitalize operations in the UK. Supervised the opening and closing of various overseas offices.
INTEGRATED RESOURCES, INC. 1981-1991 New York City based, NYSE listed, financial services company. EVP/CFO of Private and Public Investor Partnerships; Subsidiary President For five years I ran and turned around two operating companies (a Colorado chartered industrial bank and an over-the-road trailer leasing company) by increasing revenues, reducing expenses, obtaining vital financing and augmenting asset portfolios and sold both companies at a profit. For the first five years, I was CFO of multiple public and private equipment leasing investor partnerships and built partnership accounting and lease administration staffs from nothing to over 40 people.
J.P. MORGAN CHASE BANK – Equipment Leasing Officer 1979-1981 Member of Specialized Leasing Group which acted as both principal and broker of equipment leasing equity and leveraged leasing deals. Accomplished user of GE leveraged lease accounting system, state of the art at the time.
