Executive Job Description	Our client, a major manufacturer, is seeking a Websphere Commerce Architect who will be responsible for the design and management of the eCommerce site based upon WebSphere Commerce. This includes the selection and management of third parties to assist with development and maintenance of site, as well as working with the business to effectively design, estimate and prioritize site enhancements. The Architect will also be expected to manage and oversee delivery of enhancement projects. Job Responsibilities: * Lead, manage and participate in the design, development, installation, configuration and customization of WebSphere Commerce, Websphere Application Server and their components. * Integrate other products, configure, customize, develop, and install software. Troubleshoot and provide operations support. * Identify and execute product integration tasks and work with developers to make sure product use is consistent with overall program direction/ standards. * Develop end-to-end architecture of component-based, service-oriented Web application framework using J2EE and WebSphere Commerce platform. Work with systems engineers to ensure functional requirements are met. * Serve as point of contact and IT expert for Commerce support and integration issues. * Work closely with the Cognos team in designing and supporting customer inquiry functionality on the online site. * Support integration with static websites * Support integration with the EDI and Applications team as needed. Required Skills: * At least 5 years experience in Websphere Framework Components (HTML/XHTML, Javascript, Struts, Servlet, JSP, EJB, JMS, JNDI, LDAP, JDBC, XML, XSL, XSLT, SAX/DOM, XPath, XQuery, SOAP, Web Services, WSDL). * At least 5+ years experience in Java, J2EE. * Experience managing and delivering projects throughout the SDLC in the eCommerce arena * Participation in multiple deliveries of new installations or major enhancements of Websphere Commerce (preferably version 7) * At least 3 years experience in administering Websphere Application Server (Configuration, Clustering, Tuning, Deployment, Distribution etc.) and building e-commerce sites with WebSphere Commerce Enterprise Edition. * Experience managing third party developers and vendor relationships, onsite, offsite and offshore. * Management and/or supervisory experience is a must * Ability to interact with all levels of management * Excellent communication skills * Must be able to work some overtime and provide after-hours support as needed. Reports to the CIO Desired Skills: * Integration of Websphere Commerce with BI tools (preferably Cognos) * Implementation of punch out catalogs utilizing Websphere Commerce * Experience with SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) Framework * Database knowledge in MS SQL, or other enterprise-class RDBMS * Experience in Web 2.0 patterns (Ajax, DHTML) * Linux * JDE or other ERP integration experience * LDAP (preferably Tomcat) * PMP or other Project Management certification Location: Westchester County, New York Compensation: 150k-165k plus bonus, Pension, and all benefits Contact: Kevin J.
