Executive Job Description | DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Performing systems administration in an advanced, complex, global, state of the art environment to include performance monitoring, performance tuning, installs, upgrades, backups, recoveries, etc.; (2) Evaluating and implementing new system and storage technologies, software, and OS upgrades; (3) Gathering and analyzing data and applying essential system metrics; (4) Designing and maintaining tools to manage an environment of over 300+ systems; (5) Server virtualization; (6) Hands on scripting; (7) MS Exchange multi-server management; (8) Email and IM and web traffic filtering; (9) NAS and SAN storage; (10) MS SQL Server administration; (11) VOIP; (12) Switching management; (13) LAMP management.
REQUIRED:
MUST come from a very advanced, sophisticated, highly complex, mission critical enterprise technical environment comprised of advanced MICROSOFT and UNIX (Linux preferred) technologies.
MUST have 5 years of STRONG/CURRENT/ADVANCED systems administration skills with regards to MICROSOFT and UNIX/LINUX performance monitoring, performance tuning, installs, upgrades, backups, recoveries, etc.
MUST have STRONG/CURRENT MS Windows 2003 or newer, Active Directory, DHCP/DNS.
MUST have Server Virtualization and STRONG/CURRENT hands on scripting experience, ideally with VBScript or PowerShell.
MUST have Microsoft Exchange 2007 and/or 2010 in a multi-server multi-site organization utilizing data replication.
MUST have email filtering (spam, anti-virus), web traffic filtering and blocking.
MUST have network monitoring and alerting software and NAS/SAN storage, data backup and replication.
MUST have LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP/Python).
MUST have VOIP, IM, video-conferencing, and desktop imaging.
Pluses: MCSE. Windows 2008. VMware, VCP 3 or 4 certification. Microsoft System Center Operations Manager. NetApp. CCNA. Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager.
