Global provider of online trading and risk management solutions for the financial services industry is hiring an experienced Unix and Windows System Administrator. Qualified candidate will design and administer state of the art, high availability infrastructure.
Requirements:·
Strong Unix/Networking troubleshooting ·
Self-starter/independent, but able to work well in a team·
Strong problem solving abilities·
Able to handle a diverse range of tasks in a busy and challenging environment including a 24 hour international trading floor, DR site, multiple development and testing environments and satellite offices.
Scripting/Programming:·
bash/shell, perl, python, C,·
administration/installation/monitoring scripting·
distributed build environment troubleshooting a plus
Networking/Monitoring/troubleshooting:·
cisco ios· big brother / sysmon, Solar Winds·
able to interface with other teams and clients to resolve networking issues
