Executive Job Description | Our client is seeking Software Developer/Engineer to assist with the support the development/O&M activities associated with the implementation of new Scale Request Center Products and Services technology. The Program utilizes the customer PM Framework and the internationally recognized IT Infrastructure Library Framework as its guiding principles. The Program seeks development assistance from individuals who are creative, team players, who have demonstrated knowledge, experience, and capabilities to produce high quality IT products.
Responsibilities
Provides development support as a member of the project development and O&M Team.
Provides operations/maintenance and new development support for COTS tool that provides users with the ability to order IT products and services from IT Service Providers.
Analyze and solve complex application development problems; review other software developers work products for correctness, adherence to the customer design concept and user standards, and for progress in accordance with schedules.
Development and implementing the newScale RequestCenter COTS technology that is the foundation for the project initiative.
Developing plans for project releases that cover project inception through delivery and on-going operational maintenance.
Reviewing customer requirements and developing the appropriate system requirements and design specifications which will lead to detailed designs, programs, and testing.
Coordinating the proper implementation of project releases with other stakeholder partner, developers, Design Teams, and/or customers to ensure proper implementation of customer requirements, according to ITSM specifications.
Development test plans and data for the project.
Collaborating with other customer Program developers to integrate the project with other backend fulfillment systems as required.
Testing, debugging and refining software code necessary to implement the newScale Request/Center COTS technology.
Knowledgeable of multiple software development methodologies, including Agile, that can be used to effectively deliver customer requirements in the project.
Prepare required design documentation, including both program-level and user-level, to support the design requirements for the project.
Effectively provide technical guidance in software engineering techniques to other developers.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree is preferred, but not required.
Experience integrating commercial off the shelf (COTS) products using JavaScript.
Experience providing operations and maintenance support to commercial off the shelf (COTS) products.
Demonstrated ability to independently learn commercial off the shelf (COTS) and custom developed software applications.
Experience working on large, enterprise level Agency SW projects/programs that have deployed in the WMA or Field.
Knowledge of software development methodologies, Agile and otherwise.
Experience working with and implementing interfaces between commercial off the shelf (COTS) products.
Experience translating customer requirements into application designs and systems requirements.
Ability to work cooperatively and successfully in a development team environment.
Ability to create software development design documentation.
