Executive Job Description | Interested in driving the product development for a dynamic fashion retail shopping system?
We are looking for an entrepreneurial spirited technology manager to design and develop an enterprise class database and Web 2.0 commerce website. This is an opportunity to be at the forefront of a new concept to improve shopping and work with leading fashion clothing brands and large retailers.
You will be responsible to lead and manage the design and development of the company's infrastructure and platforms to support all applications. You will manage a highly skilled product development team. This is an end-to-end development project from start to product rollout including all data activities, the serving infrastructure, cloud computing, and integration of ERP software-as-a-service components.
MUST HAVES:
Experience in new product development, master data management, enterprise data architecture, and enterprise software.
Experience and knowledge of client/server and internet system architecture, use of latest web development tools, and deployment of internet commerce disciplines.
Knowledge of physical data design, relational database technology, stored procedures, indexing, and query optimization.
Experience with mobile technology and platforms.
Understanding of browser/client specific compatibility issues including device detection.
Knowledge of retail database systems a plus.
Previously part of a startup a plus
