Executive Job Description	Description Seeking an experienced Java Applications Developer to design and build front office algorithmic trading systems. The capability to interact with traders and work in partnership with a development team to deliver high quality, cutting edge systems is crucial to success in this role. No prior industry experience is necessary. Requirements • A minimum of 3 years working on core Java (J2SE) applications • Proficient in development on Linux platforms • Sound understanding of fundamental computer science concepts • Experience with multithreaded and socket programming • Quick-thinking, intelligent, pragmatic, with a love of problem-solving. • Ability to quickly translate requirements into sound technical designs. • Work effectively on the trading floor, under deadline pressures • Self-motivated, enjoy working as part of a team • Communicate clearly, concisely and confidently Preferred Qualifications • Good mathematical ability • Experience in agile development practices • Experience in FX system development
