You will be part of a team responsible for the implementation of the CP/S designed "global template" which will enable ACS to move from current business processes and operating systems to common business processes, enabled by SAP. This position will require an in-depth understanding of the CP/S Global design and ability to configure SAP.
This is a Senior Finance IT position in a large matrix organization. The scope of the position includes management as well as hands on execution. The candidate must be willing and able to complete FICO configure, check master data, execute integration testing, write functional specifications, train users etc. The main scope of the position is for deployment with some limited post go live enhancement work
Key Responsibilities:
• The Senior Finance IT person will work within the Common Process and Solutions (CP/S) SAP Program leading and supporting multiple implementation streams from a finance perspective • Providing IT support for the functional processes • Configuring the SAP system to meet the business requirements for finance function as required • Requirements gathering with the business for RICE-F deliverables, testing of the RICE-F deliverables, business project team training on the newly developed RICE-F deliverables • Creation of functional specifications for interfaces and enhancements. • Supporting other functional teams in the realization of the global design model (supporting template extensions) • Responsible for ensuring that the CPS solution knowledge is effectively transferred and that users fully understand their new role in the business. • Ensure that all users are able to operate new business process effectively with minimum impact to the business • Be a champion of the CPS solution and assist in change management activities. • Ensure the achievement of an ACS common process and common system solution • Partner with Functional Implementation Leader team to ensure a successful project implementation • Complete key project deliverables assigned as outlined in the CP/S deployment methodology

• TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: Candidate must be an overall FICO generalist. They should have exposure and understanding of a majority of the following areas: FI-New GL 5.0 functionality, AR, AP, make to stock product costing within discrete mfg environment, make to order and make to stock product costing for variant configuration, general CO including internal projects, internal orders, activity allocations, assessments, settlements etc., cost based PA functionality, FSCM, AM, report painter, LSMW, ABAP query, billable POC projects, service order functionality. (not all areas required).
• OTHER: Team oriented, ability to work in a matrix environment, ability to deal with ambiguity, organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively in a multi-cultural, global environment at all levels of management.
Please note that this position requires 50 percent travel.
Basic qualifications:
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Accounting / Finance / Information Technology with finance emphasis. • Minimum of 10 or more years of experience in general finance and accounting, cost accounting, percentage of complete revenue recognition for billable projects. • At least 7 or more years of experience with the following SAP modules: FICO core, FI integration points with MM, PP, PS, SD. • Ability to travel at 50 percent or more.
Preferred qualifications:
• Considered an expert in general finance and accounting, cost accounting, percentage of complete revenue recognition for billable projects. • Experience with the following SAP modules: FICO core, FI integration points with MM, PP, PS, SD. • At least 5 implementation experiences with emphasis on FICO and FI integration. • Minimum 10 years business experience. • Experience in Six Sigma, Lean or other process-oriented techniques. • Tier 1 consulting background a plus. • Experience in Six Sigma, Lean or other process-oriented techniques. • Results driven, yet highly team-oriented. • Open-minded. • Ability to work in a matrix environment. • Ability to deal with ambiguity. • Organizational skills. • Can operate in a multi-cultural, global environment. • Ability to communicate at all levels in the organization. • Excellent time management and multi tasking skills.
