Executive Job Description
DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Design, configuration and production support for SAP's APO Production Planning, Detailed Scheduling, Demand Planning, Production Planning (PP-PI) and xApp Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence (xMII) modules; (2) Supporting all phases of a project life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, support, and optimization of solutions, as well as documentation and end-user training; (3) Managing and contributing extensively to projects and enhancements, primarily for the APO-PPDS, APO-DP, SAP-xMII and SAP PP modules and interfaces to other applications; (4) Gathering business requirements, analyzing needs against system functionality, designing and configuring system, writing technical specifications for FIREC objects (forms, interfaces, reports, enhancements, and conversions), testing, developing procedures and training materials, delivering end user training, and coordinating/supporting go-live; (5) Assisting in the implementation of the project ‘M’, using the SAP xMII tool, by gathering, defining, and translating business requirements into functional design as well as coordinating and executing the development, testing and implementation of the solution; (6)Collaborating with the business groups in identifying and executing shop floor automation projects; (7) Assuming a leadership role in standardization and automation of reporting solutions from all relevant plant operations systems involving obtaining a comprehensive understanding of all the complexities and integration of existing OLTP & OLAP environments, gathering business requirements, performing gap analyses, and synthesizing knowledge to design & deploy best practice-based solutions; (8) Assisting the business in identifying KPI-based metrics for plant operations and designing and assisting in the deployment of dashboards for the metrics; (9) Identifying and recommending new tools and procedures that will lead to improved performance in the assigned area of responsibility; (10) Managing vendor relationships for system support, upgrading features and assisting in application strategy for relevant systems; (11) Acting as a liaison with the SAP Basis, technical services, and third party teams in ensuring that the applicable systems perform optimally; (12) Acting as a first line of support for end user configuration and enhancement requests; (13) Managing and/or contributing extensively to projects involving team members across countries, with multi-cultural backgrounds, and representing business groups, external partners, and internal IT; (14) (When assigned duties as a Project Manager) Creating/updating project plans, tasks, and milestones using the Microsoft Project Server tool; (15) (When assigned duties as a Project Manager) Managing project budgets and resources; (16) (When assigned duties as a Project Manager) Driving day-to-day progress and assisting in aligning people/project/skills; (17) (When assigned duties as a Project Manager) Resolving and/or escalating issues and ensuring accurate, timely and clear communication within and outside of the project team; (18) (When assigned duties as a Project Manager) Managing change, and practicing organizational project methodologies; (19) Analyzing and correcting process and configuration problems as they occur in the production systems; (20) Performing or leading unit testing and integration testing and working closely with the end-user security authorization administrator during development and implementation of end-user security objects; (21) Ensuring consistency of application relevant configuration across the system landscape and all business units; (22) Conducting presentations to client audiences and professional peers and communicating with colleagues, management, and business team members on requirements, problems, project status, and issues; (23) Developing appropriate procedures and processes and providing design recommendations based on long term IT organization strategy; (24) Designing enterprise level application and custom integration solutions including major enhancements, interfaces, functions, and features; (25) Researching and maintaining knowledge in emerging technologies and application to the business.

REQUIRED:

Must have at least 3 years of STRONG and CURRENT hands-on experience as a Functional Analyst with STRONG CONFIGURATION experience in SAP APO (PPDS & DP), SAP-PP and SAP-xMII modules and a minimum of 1 full lifecycle implementations in each of the above 3 areas, including release upgrades and new system or module configuration.

Minimum 1 year experience in design and implementation of reporting

or automation projects in the logistics area.

Acts as a functional leader in IT organization, is self-motivated, and coaches and mentors more junior staff.

Manages multiple tasks and communicates effectively.

Ability to coordinate a variety of tests (unit, string, integration,

security, and performance) and participate in the change-management process.

Has strong and current knowledge of appropriate change control procedures for moving new configurations or maintenance programs through the landscape.

Has strong and current ability to conduct impact analyses and coordinate testing related to application of regular software patches and upgrades.

Must have excellent English communication skills (written and spoken) as well as terrific presentation skills.



Pluses: Knowledge & experience in integrating SAP modules with SAP BW. Experience in any of the SAP R/3 modules (specifically Sales & Distribution, Quality Management, Materials Management) and SAP BW. Experience in integrating business applications with data from historians, PLC’s & other shop floor automation and control (SFAC) systems; Experience in the design and implementation of workflow. Adept at researching, discovering, developing, and designing technology solutions. Fluency in Spanish.
