LKW 2246 Business Systems Analyst
DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Acting as a liaison between key business areas and Information Technology project teams (application development and quality assurance) to ensure IT applications support the business needs; (2) Working with project stakeholders to facilitate project definition and authorization; (3) Analyzing business processes and procedures, gathering and documenting system requirements; (3) Developing detailed functional requirements and designing specifications to be used to drive custom systems development or package selection and implementation; (4) Participation in design reviews and in the development of team project plans; (5) Understanding and documenting business needs and relating those business needs to both existing and new applications / products.
REQUIRED:
MUST have an undergraduate degree (i.e. BA or BS or BBA).
3 years of current and strong experience functioning as an IT Business Analyst analyzing and documenting existing internal IT and business processes.
Current and strong experience converting business process requirements into system requirements for enabling technology.
Ideally comes from a MICROSOFT client/server and web solutions environment.
MUST have OUTSTANDING communication skills (written and verbal), interpersonal skills, and presentation skills (to include executive management).
Excellent organization and time management skills.
MUST have excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
MUST have proficiency with Microsoft personal productivity tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access), a project planning tool such as Microsoft Project, and VISIO.
MUST be highly motivated, passionate about your career.
MUST be user focused, customer driven, assertive and not aggressive, and able to define the difference.
Pluses: B2B experience. Insurance industry or accounting application experience. RDBMS. Process improvement projects.

Duties: You will be responsible for: (1) Helping them bring in latest release of PeopleSoft; (2) Understanding new requirements, design and developing/testing application modifications; (3) Optimizing PeopleSoft financial applications; (4) Troubleshooting applications and maintaining and supporting activities; (5) documenting business requirements; (6) Creating technical specifications from functional specs created by Business Analysts.
