Executive Job Description | Create CAD layouts and routing for high-density, double-sided, mixed-technology digital and analog multi-layer printed wiring boards. The candidate will prepare all applicable drawings and documentation needed for the fabrication and assembly of boards to meet IPC high-reliability requirements (IPC-221 and IPC-222).
An understanding of basic electronics and component characteristics is required as well as a working knowledge of ANSI electrical symbols. An understanding of manufacturing processes and materials related to board/package design as well as the principles behind design for manufacture (DFM) is required. An understanding of board layout rules as they apply to high-speed design is required.
AT LEAST 4 years of PWB CAD experience with a working knowledge of Mentor Graphics BoardStation and Design Architect. A solid working knowledge of Mentor AutoActive RE is mandatory.
