Lead Information Assurance (IA) Team to implement IA products for customer Land Mobile Radio (LMR) systems. Install security products onto customer servers. Test functionality of LMR system after installing controls. Provide feedback to product engineering to make corrections to IA products. Work with accrediting agencies to perform lockdown procedures, verify configurations, interpret findings and report findings back to product engineering. Coordinate and facilitate activities with our client’s support teams and vendors to implement system changes and maintenance. Work to resolve issues introduced during implementation process.
Qualifications:
10+ years of experience
Understand security controls for UNIX and Windows operating systems
Computer security concepts: CIA, defense-in-depth, PKI, VPN, etc.
Strong knowledge of TCP/IP and networking principles
Strong knowledge in security and security auditing tools
Lead other IA team members and be able to operate without significant direction
Understand Land Mobile Radio systems to perform functionality testing
Professional certifications (e.g. CISSP or CompTIA Security+ ) are a plus
Knowledge of VoIP systems
